Yodo1 Corporate Website Privacy Notice

Effective / last updated:

This notice explains personal information handled in connection with Yodo1's corporate information website, business inquiries, and corporate policy pages.

1. Scope and responsibility

This notice applies to the corporate website at www.yodo1.com and these corporate policy pages on policy.yodo1.com. It covers visitors and people contacting us about business opportunities. It describes current corporate website features; a future website redesign does not, by itself, mean that a proposed collection feature is operating.

The operator is Yodo1, Ltd., a company incorporated in the British Virgin Islands. “Yodo1,” “we,” and “us” refer to that operator. Its registered office is Vistra Corporate Services Centre, Wickhams Cay II, Road Town, Tortola, VG1110, British Virgin Islands. Its business mailing address is Room 2007, 20/F., Westin Centre, 26 Hung To Road, Kwun Tong, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

Games, publishing services, MAS, SDKs, and other products have separate privacy notices. Recruitment is covered by the careers privacy policy. This notice does not replace those notices or describe their game, advertising SDK, or applicant data processing.

2. Information involved

Keep inquiries relevant to the business purpose. Avoid submitting passwords, payment credentials, identity documents, health information, or other unnecessary sensitive information through ordinary inquiry channels. Opening an email link does not send a message.

3. Purposes and legal grounds

We use relevant information to deliver and protect the website, address technical issues or misuse, answer inquiries, evaluate business opportunities, and maintain related correspondence. Optional marketing choices support requested updates. Usage and advertising tools support audience measurement, understanding page use, improving the website, and measuring or tailoring campaigns.

The legal basis depends on the activity and applicable law. It may include consent where required, steps you request before entering a contract, legal obligations, or legally permitted legitimate interests such as website security and responding to business inquiries. Legitimate interests are not a basis available under every law. Where consent is required, it must be obtained for the relevant processing and can be withdrawn. Reading this notice does not itself provide that consent.

4. Cookies and other technologies

The current corporate website uses Webflow-hosted resources and HubSpot contact forms. It also loads Google Analytics and advertising tools, Meta and LinkedIn advertising tools, and Microsoft Clarity. These tools can use cookies, pixels, or similar technologies:

Tool or category Information and purpose
Website resources and forms Technical request information needed to deliver pages and resources; inquiry details submitted through HubSpot forms.
HubSpot Contact and campaign information, form interactions, website usage, and identifiers to support inquiries, requested communications, and campaign measurement.
Google Analytics and advertising tools Visit, device, referral, interaction, and identifier information for audience statistics and advertising measurement or personalization.
Meta and LinkedIn tools Visit, interaction, and identifier information for campaign measurement and advertising.
Microsoft Clarity Usage and interaction information, including behavioral metrics, heatmaps, and session replay, to understand use and improve the website.

Third-party images, videos, fonts, and other resources can send technical request information to providers when loaded. Our corporate policy pages use embedded logo, font, and styling resources and do not add these analytics, advertising, replay, or form tools.

Use any privacy choices provided on the relevant page, your browser's cookie or tracking settings, and providers' available advertising choices. Browser settings can block or clear storage but may not prevent every third-party request. Blocking a tool may affect functions. You can contact us about your choices or to withdraw consent where it is the applicable basis.

Provider information is available in the HubSpot Privacy Policy, Google Privacy Policy, Meta Privacy Policy, LinkedIn Privacy Policy, and Microsoft Privacy Statement.

5. Access and recipients

Relevant business personnel may access inquiries and correspondence to handle the inquiry or relationship. Hosting and delivery, email, forms, analytics, and advertising providers may process relevant information for their functions. HubSpot receives submitted form information; other listed tools can receive technical and interaction information directly from your browser. Some providers also determine their own uses under their privacy policies; not every provider acts solely on our instructions.

Information may need to be disclosed to authorities or professional advisers to comply with law, respond to legal process, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Such disclosure remains subject to applicable law.

6. International processing

Yodo1's registered office is in the British Virgin Islands and its published business mailing address is in Hong Kong. Personnel and providers may handle information in countries other than your own. International provider operations and a website resource's location do not mean all information is stored in one country.

Applicable cross-border requirements remain relevant, including required safeguards, notifications, or consent. To request information about recipients, processing locations, or safeguards relevant to your interaction, contact us below. This notice does not identify a game-specific transfer mechanism as applying automatically to corporate website data.

7. Retention and security

Retention depends on the information and purpose:

When information is no longer needed for these purposes or requirements, it should be deleted or appropriately anonymized. You may ask about retention applicable to your information. There is no single period for every category.

The website and these policy pages use HTTPS. We seek to protect information through reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to its nature and risks. No transmission or storage system can guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on applicable law, you may request access to or a copy of your information, correction, deletion, restriction, or portability, and you may be able to object to certain processing. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting earlier processing's lawfulness. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority.

Send privacy requests to privacy@yodo1.com, describing the interaction and right you wish to exercise. We may need necessary information to verify identity and locate records. Do not send identity documents or sensitive verification material unless an appropriate process has been arranged. Requests, exceptions, and response time limits are governed by applicable law.

For marketing communications, use an unsubscribe option where provided or contact us to stop the relevant communications. Browser or advertising choices do not automatically withdraw an email subscription, and email unsubscribe does not clear browser storage.

9. Children

The corporate information website is directed to business audiences and does not seek inquiries from children. If you believe a child provided information through this website, contact privacy@yodo1.com so the issue can be addressed under applicable law. This is separate from the children's privacy provisions of our games and other products.

10. Updates and contact

The effective and last updated date appears above. We may update this notice as website functions, processing, or legal requirements change and provide additional notice where required. English and Chinese versions are intended to communicate the same content.

The Corporate Website Terms of Use explain website use. Separate product and recruitment policies continue to apply to their services.
